NIGERIANS REACT TO APPOINTMENT OF BUHARI’S DAUGHTER AS DEPUTY MANAGER OF PETROLEUM AGENCY (PPPRA)



Nigerians have reacted angrily to the appointment scandal rocking the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) in which President Buhari’s daughter Zahra who just joined the agency was appointed Deputy Manager.
It was alleged by a whistleblower #signalng that employments at the PPPRA are being made to favour some people from certain parts of the country.

The petition was posted on the tweeter handle of the whistleblower. It reads: “BREAKING | Nigerian whistleblower raises alarm over nepotism at Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), says Buhari’s daughter Zahra was employed as Deputy Manager. See attached details for the full story.”

In reaction, Nigerians expressed disgust and disappointment with president Buhari’s government. They accused him of turning Nigeria into his family affair.

IBORI PARDON IN SIGHT? FG Inaugurates Presidential Committee On Prerogative of Mercy

Abuja, Nigeria — The Federal Government of Nigeria has inaugurated a 12-member Presidential Advisory Committee on the Prerogative of Mercy (PACPM), tasked with recommending individuals eligible for presidential pardons from criminal convictions. The committee, chaired by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, was inaugurated on Wednesday. GOVERNOR OBOREVWORI APPOINTS OSEJI AS DELTA HEAD OF SERVICE

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has approved the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Minimim Oseji as the new Head of Service. Her appointment follows the retirement of Mr. Reginald Bayoko, who served in the position for nearly nine years.
