DELTA DEPUTY GOVERNOR RECEIVES NIGER DELTA PEACE AMBASSADOR AWARD 2019

The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, has been conferred with the award of Peace Ambassador of the Niger Delta for 2019.

The award, which was organised by the Daily Independent Newspapers Limited, was presented to Otuaro on Saturday at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos

Making the presentation, the newspaper said the meritorious award is in recognition of the Deputy Governor’s “ground-breaking performance in the promotion of peace and security to the Niger Delta, which has helped in creating prosperity for all Deltans.

The newspaper also stated that the decision to confer on Deacon Otuaro with “this well-deserving award was taken after extensive research into the peace process in the past four years in the promotion of peace and security, including nearness to the grassroots people.
