SANUSI FINALLY BREAKS SILENCE AFTER DETHRONEMENT AS EMIR OF KANO (Video)

The dethroned emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II has broken his silence after his dethronement by the Kano State government.
In a 4.39-minute video posted on social media, Sanusi, who spoke in Hausa, said it is God that made him the Emir of Kano state and it is God’s will that he is no more the Emir of Kano.
He prayed for the progress of the state and appealed to the people of the state to remain calm and not resort to violence.
The Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi  Ganduje, on Monday, dethroned the 14th  Emir of Kano, Muhammadu  Sanusi II, after five years on the throne.

The Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, stated that the removal of  Sanusi, whose grandfather,  Muhammadu Sanusi I,  was deposed in 1963,  was unanimously approved by the state executive council.
However, before the announcement was made, there were signs that a major decision was in the offing as heavily armed security agents were drafted to the major parts of the city, including the palace of the monarch.
Hence, a letter communicating the decision of the Kano State Government to sack the Emir of Kano was transmitted to the monarch prior to his eviction from the palace on Monday.
See the letter below;
Sanusi
Translation;
“O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent.
-Sura Aal-E-Imran, Ayah 26
Also, Muhammadu Sanusi gave his first statement after his dethronement on Monday.
See video below:
His words in English:
In summary, he identified his becoming Emir as his destiny and also accepts his dethronment as same. He gives thanks to Allah & people of Kano for their love, loyalty, solidarity, etc towards him. Also, He enjoins them all to live in peace and harmony and support the new Emir.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
