BE OF GOOD COURAGE, OVIE OMO-AGEGE IS MAKING PROGRESS AT THE TRIBUNAL.

It is certain that Sheriff Oborevwori will be shown the door of Osadebe House following the outcome of the 2023 governorship election in Delta State and the ongoing proceedings at the governorship election petition tribunal.

Despite Mahmood Yakubu's promise to conduct a credible election, INEC officials sent to Delta State compromised after collecting humongous bribes from Okowa and the PDP. But the All Progressive Congress, APC candidate, Obarisi Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, insists he won the governorship election of March 18, 2023. The election tribunal is now examining evidence of several irregularities in the election.

Sheriff Oborevwori and PDP lawyers can only raise inconsequential objections. The panel judges admitted all the documents despite opposition from the respondents' legal team of Sheriff Oborevwori, and PDP. Within their legal team, you can notice a doubtful demeanour. Apparently, they believe they should be rewarded with a re-run for their fraudulent actions during the election.

So far, the Petitioner Ovie Omo-Agege, represented by Barrister Kenneth and others, has sought relief from the court under the schedule of documents to present the following documents: FORM EC8A, FORM EC8B, FORM EC8C, FORM EC8D, FORM EC8E, and the INEC Voters Register Used for the conduct of the 2023 gubernatorial election in Delta State in line with the schedule of documents. Counsel to the first, second, and third respondents (INEC, Sheriff, and PDP) all objected, and the documents were marked exhibit AP1 in the first instance.

Ovie Omo-Agege's legal team equally tendered 25 EC8A forms and 34 EC8B forms to the court, and Counsel to INEC reserved objection to Form EC8B. PDP and Sheriff objected and said they would observe its details in the final written address. The judge admitted it and referred to it as Exhibit 3B1. 25 forms of EC8C, 1 EC8D, and 1 EC8E form were again tendered to the court. Counsel to INEC reserved his objection, but PDP and Sheriff objected to its admissibility to EC8E and accepted EC8D. The judge again marked the documents as exhibits 3EC1, 3ED1, and 3ED2, respectively.

Furthermore, Omo-Agege's counsel tendered to the court all the payment receipts for Certification to the respondent by the Petitioner in Form EC8A, B, C, D, and E, and also another receipt for Polling unit results; however, there was no objection from INEC, but PDP and Sheriff opposed it, and the judge accepted and admitted the INEC payment receipts of numbers 00191 of June 19, and 023955 of June 22, marked as exhibits 3BF1 and F2, respectively.

Omo-Agege also tendered to the court, 111 Copies of the INEC voter register. Counsel to INEC noted that ordinarily, he shouldn't have objected, but since three polling units' voter registers were photocopied, he objected to them. The judge asked if it is a certified true copy or not, and his answer was in the Affirmative, PDP objected, Sheriff also objected to the document, and then the Judge marked it as Exhibit 3AG111.

In addition, Omo-Agege's counsel tendered the receipt for the certified true copy (CTC) payment for the voter register of 142 polling units across Delta State. INEC said there was no objection; PDP and Sheriff objected to it, and the Judge admitted receipt number 00161 as exhibit 3EH1.

Lastly, the Omo-Agege legal team tendered the BVAS report of about 5859 polling units, serially paginated in numbers 1–227, accompanied by the Certificate of Identification in Section 4 of the Evidence Act, duly certified. Receipt for payment for the CTC of the BVAS report for the Governorship election across Delta State, 3EJ1-I, INEC did not raise objections, but PDP and Sheriff objected to it as usual, but the Judge marked BVAS as Exhibit 3EJ1-J2, while the Certification of Compliance and payment number 094418 receipt are marked Exhibits 3PK1 and 3PK2, respectively.

From the evidence available, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege will be declared the election winner. As it stands now, Deltans and indeed Nigerians are waiting patiently to see and know the decision the tribunal will take on the issue. This is so Deltans know the truth about who actually won the election.

We urge Deltans, APC members, and supporters not to quiver; Ovie Omo-Agege is making progress at the tribunal. Let’s just say Omo-Agege has Sheriff Oborevwori and PDP in a vise-grip
