DELTA GUBER: Omo-Agege’s Petition Still Alive, PDP Jittery – APC

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State has said Ovie Omo-Agege s petition against the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the state governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, is still very much alive.

Omo-Agege was the governorship candidate of the APC during the last election in Delta State.

The party was reacting to the wild jubilation in the camp of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the governorship election tribunal in the state dismissed the case of former Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, against Governor Oborevwori.

However, the APC explained that it s only an application to call additional witnesses that was refused by the tribunal in Wednesday proceedings.

The State Publicity Secretary of the Delta State APC, Valentine Onojeghuo, made these remarks in Asaba, the state capital.

He rubbished the purported dismissal and celebration by members of the State PDP, saying it was delusional.

Onojeghuo said the celebration only goes to confirm that the Delta State PDP is obviously jittery about the ironclad petition of Omo-Agege before the tribunal.

According to him, "This is a confirmation that the PDP and Oborevwori are in a state of panic, very jittery and scared stiff of the ironclad petition of Sen Ovie Omo-Agege.

"They know that they don t stand a chance against the petition and it is only a matter of time before the restoration of our stolen mandate to the rightful owner, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege."
