THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PETITION TRIBUNAL WILL UPHOLD TINUBU'S VICTORY

The opposition should not to raise your hope. When you examine all the evidence presented by the parties to the cases against Tinubu and INEC, none of them is concrete. A lot of them were fabricated. Some of them are outright lies, stupid, ridiculous and embarrassing. Their lawyers failed Law School woefully. They don't understand how technology works. They don't know that there can be technical glitches in the devices used by INEC and Amazon servers that INEC used. As a matter of fact, others have experienced glitches before and during the period that INEC rented their server from Amazon. So did a lot companies around the world that also use Amazon AWS.

No technology in the world is perfect and any of those devices and software could have glitches at any point in time, so could any third-party services they might use.

Their lawyers don't understand the electoral law and the constitution. The law is very explicit as regard the conduct of the elections in Nigeria, so is the constitution. It has been pointed out several times where they failed woefully in their arguments. Unfortunately, they misinterpreted the law and the constitution of Nigeria. They need to be sent back to Law School. They are a disgrace to the bench.

The intense focus on President Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu's academic qualifications has overshadowed the importance of the election itself, and also drawing attention away from his impressive professional background. Tinubu has an extensive history of working for prestigious companies, including Arthur Andersen, a prominent American Holding Company headquartered in Chicago, and Deloitte, a global leader in audit, financial, and risk advisory services.

Furthermore, regarding the drug allegations, an investigation led by the Inspector General of Police has cleared Bola Ahmed Tinubu of any wrongdoing, undermining the opposition's claims on this matter.

Finally, the Constitution is very ambiguous about the status of Abuja, the FCT in the elections. As such, no straight forward interpretation could be given by anyone, including the judges as to its meaning or the intention of the drafters of the Constitution. It is recommended that that section should be amended or removed entirely, because of its ambiguity. But the law is on the side of Tinubu. There is a Case Law and Precedent by the Supreme Court regarding the issue and that favours Tinubu. So, no matter the interpretation, the Tribunal must rely on the Case Law and Precedent to decide the case. That's the law.

Peter Obi and Atiku are losers. They will never be President of Nigeria in this lifetime, no matter how many times they contest.

You can take that to the bank in London or Wales anytime. It is guaranteed.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
