STRENGTHENING THE APC: Omo-Agege’s Renewed Hope Tour in Delta Central

In the past two weeks, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections, embarked on an extensive tour across the eight local government areas of Delta Central Senatorial District. This strategic outreach provided a platform to reconnect with party leaders, members, and the broader community after the elections, fostering unity and celebrating the party’s achievements.

Delta Central has long been a stronghold of the APC, and Omo-Agege emphasized the party’s unwavering commitment to strengthening its base. Throughout the tour, he highlighted the need to consolidate on past successes and build a more robust and united APC in Delta Central and beyond. The meetings featured interactive sessions where party members and leaders shared insights and engaged in meaningful discussions about the future of the party.

The engagements also offered an opportunity to express gratitude to the people for their continued support while reflecting on the gains achieved during the 2023 general elections. These sessions were pivotal in brainstorming strategies to advance the APC’s vision in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Central to the discussions was the federal government’s bold reform initiatives aimed at economic revitalization, social development, infrastructure enhancement, and good governance. Despite the initial challenges, these measures reflect a dedication to building a prosperous, equitable, and resilient Nigeria. Omo-Agege assured the people that this is just the beginning of many more engagements aimed at deepening the party’s impact and fostering progress.

An interesting highlight of the tour was Omo-Agege’s induction as a Catholic Knight in the Order of St. John International (KSJ), a profound honour that underscored his faith and commitment to service of God and the people.

The tour concluded with party members unanimously reaffirming their resolve to forge ahead as one united and indivisible party, united by the vision of the Renewed Hope Agenda. This renewed energy and sense of purpose reflect the APC’s commitment to serving the people and advancing Delta Central’s development.
