Fejiro Oliver is once again exposing himself as a desperate political jobber, resorting to blackmail and fabrications in a failed attempt to derail Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s second-term bid. His antics are nothing but the last kicks of a drowning man, loud, dramatic, but utterly powerless.
Let it be clear: the road to Osadebey House in 2027 is wide open for Governor Oborevwori. No one is standing in his way.
Fejiro’s weapon is insult; his strategy is cheap propaganda. But Deltans are already seeing him for what he is an empty drum whose noise is carrying no weight. The last election humbled him, exposing the futility of his so-called influence. Today, he has reduced himself to a bitter commentator, throwing stones from the sidelines because he is not competing on the terrain of real politics.
What Fejiro and his group are failing to understand is that Governor Oborevwori is not looking for their acknowledgement. He is not needing validation from political jobbers or rented critics. His legitimacy is coming from the people, and his record of performance is speaking louder than their propaganda.
While they are peddling lies, Governor Oborevwori is delivering results. It is on record that Governor Oborevwori is not doing infrastructure upgrades because he is seeking praises. The flyovers, bridges, and road networks under construction are not standing as applause-seeking monuments. They are lasting solutions to decades of traffic nightmares at critical junctions. Everyone, including Fejiro and his family know that these projects are transforming lives, easing movement, and stimulating growth. Their only problem is that politics is not allowing them to admit it.
From Warri to Asaba, from the creeks to the uplands, the evidence of progress is glaring. Deltans are seeing it, they are feeling it, and they are knowing who is working for them. This is why no amount of propaganda is sticking; no volume of blackmail is drowning the truth.
The painful reality for Fejiro and his ilk is that Oborevwori’s achievements are rendering their noise useless. Every new road, every completed bridge, every upgraded hospital is hammering another nail into the coffin of their propaganda. They are pained not because the Governor is failing, but because he is succeeding and his success is exposing their irrelevance.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is rewriting the script of governance in Delta. He is focused, he is delivering, and he is unstoppable. Fejiro can continue ranting from now till 2027, but the people know better. Blackmail is having no power where performance speaks louder.
In 2027, the choice is not going to be Oborevwori and anyon; it is going to be between progress and retrogression, between leadership and noise. And Deltans are already knowing where they stand.
There's a limit to cheap blackmail and propaganda. Truth be said Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has demonstrated real commitment to the needs of the people.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, he displayed real courage and seriousness by bringing in Julius Berger to the State. He is the only governor to have done that. Who can question the competence of that construction giant? Let a true propagandist query that numero uno in construction here on our
shores. If there's no basis even for constructive criticism, decency demands that a rational person will acknowledge performance that is unequalled and enviable. Spurious condemnation earns greater respects and acclaim for the person being attacked. This governor has earned applause in many spheres of governance. Deltans are eager to show him genuine gratitude through their votes. No amount of frivolous time wasting on puerile propaganda can alter the path God has prepared to make the governor tread. ...
