HERDSMEN KILLING: NEC Working Group Recommends Ranching In Five States

The permanent solution to the Fulani Herdsmen-Farmers' conflict in Nigeria is the establishment of Ranching in Nigeria. Ranching will not only solve the historical conflict between farmers and Fulani Herdsmen, it will also create jobs for the jobless youths in Nigeria, if properly implemented.

Furthermore, Ranching should not be limited to only five states recommended by NEC, it should be introduced in all states along the routes followed by the Fulani Herdsmen and their cattle in Nigeria. Limiting Ranching to only five will not solve all the problems.

However, the conflict between Herdsmen and farmers in Nigeria has entered a new phase that Ranching cannot solve at the moment. Some disgruntled and unscrupulous elements have hijacked the conflict to destabilize Nigeria. They are the ones arming and training the Herdsmen with AK 47 to murder Nigerians. They are also currently working on turning the conflict into a religious war between the Christians and the Muslims in Nigeria. That's why they have started using the Herdsmen and other people they hired to disguise as Herdsmen to murder the priests in Nigeria.

The only solution right now is for the government to find those involved arrest, prosecute and jail them.
