The three tiers of government shared N420 billion as revenue for September as against N510.3 billion shared in August. The   sum of N510 billion was shared in August. The Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, said this in Abuja on Thursday at the monthly revenue allocation to Federal, States and Local Governments. She was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mr Mahmoud Isa-Dutse. According to her, the revenue allocation to Federal, States and Local Government for September declined by N90.2 billion. The Delta State government has donated operational vehicles to the Nigerian Police, Delta State command. The donation was made today by the Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa at the new Government House, Asaba. Governor Okowa noted that the vehicles will help the special police units created to address security challenges in the State, with a promise to provide more once the finances of the State improve.   Receiving the vehicles, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mr Zannah Ibrahim thanked Governor Okowa for the gesture and assured that the police in the State will put the vehicles into good use.   The presentation ceremony was attended by the State Chairman of PDP, Barr. Kingsley Esiso, Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, Hon. Barr. Samuel Mariere, members of the State Executive Council and top government functionaries.

The President of Nigeria Mr. Muhammadu Buhari should have been much more diplomatic upon hearing his wife’s outburst about how he runs the country and the people he chose to help him. Men are wont to show a lot of bravado when talking about their wives. In olden times the worst fear a man had was to be labelled in vulgar language a “woman wrapper.” In order to avoid the label men have been known to show that no woman has wrapped them up. But that was then but not now. Yesterday, Hajo Sani prepared to leave Nigeria by British Airways to underscore her undue supervisory role over Aisha and be the chaperon again! She wasn't with Aisha when she gave the BBC interview, she's scrambling to go to London before Aisha proceeds to Brussels and say more stuff. They are angry as hell and are smarting from the exposé.
