RE: SOUTH-EAST PDP LEADERS KICK AGAINST OBI’S CHOICE AS RUNNING MATE

Image may contain: 1 person
For records, it is difficult to recall when Ndigbo as a collective elected to confer on these shameless grafters the title of “South East leaders” Please correct me if I am wrong.

For sure, they are ‘minding their business’ which is to serve as APC Igbo toadies. Recall that without much prompting from the Buhari regime they betrayed Nnamdi Kanu, and gladly laughed to the bank with their allotted thirty pieces of silver after successfully delivering Kanu’s bloodied head on a platter as ordered. You go back to the archives for more details

Guess they are now scheming for same paycheck by challenging the choice of Peter Obi as Atiku’s VP.

These despondent fellows have shown themselves to be nothing but closet APC Trojan horses in Igboland and need to be totally ignored for what they represent  – UNREFLECTIVE  BUFFOONERY ON STEROID !!!

Hopefully, at the fullness of time, their names will be written in historical obloquy.

Truth be told, South East political cadre is filled up with feckless cravens, and trucklers of all stripes in tow who serially disgrace and dishonor the legacies of our renowned political titans of yore.

I can’t help but put a searchlight on this phantom Gov Umahi who readily signs himself off as the leader of the pack (of clowns). Welcome to a perfect case study in stupidity. You cannot ask for anything better. Here is one pathetic, delusional little fellow with massive ego that really believes he is important in the political scheme of things in Igboland. His public utterances of late are but a disgrace.  Much to the chagrin of certain members of his inner circle, here is a vapid narcissist who thinks and behaves like someone inflicted with psychic injury and doesn’t even know it.  You hear them grumble in muffled tones.

My hope is that something gives in sooner than later to force them to come to their senses.

Umahi and his gang of ‘SE leaders’ should better be advised to spend more time being true advocates for Igbo social and political emancipation and true disciples of Igbo-centric socio-economic ideology and less time serving as ass swipes or noise squads for blood cuddling political orthodoxy – ruthless in their greed and lust for Igbo blood.

It is important we remind ourselves at this juncture that the quintessential Igbo priority this day and age should be to have a strong, stable and viable economic base in the whole SE.

Economic Power, they say translates to Political power at the end of the day.

And as has been aptly demonstrated, Peter Obi understands this. He is without any doubt the best man to make it happen if anyone can. All the noisemakers notwithstanding, there is a need for real adults in room. It is time.

The time is short the hour is late, and the business is urgent. Very urgent. Peter Obi is an adult.

BTW:  Mazi Obi’s profile (antecedents and pedigree) is presently on public display. I wonder when Umahi and his crop of miserable knaves will put theirs on display too for comparative analysis of who better fits the bill as “SE leader”. That is if they have something worthy of sharing with the public.

Agonizing about the ‘unfolding leadership cul-de-sac’ in Igboland, Mazi Emma Ezenwelu dryly averred that the Igbo leaders corps is by design corrupt and badly compromised by the presence of a slew of unsavory characters. His list includes

Those who cannot manage their homes but aspire to the Igbo leadership.  “Those who stumbled in on sudden wealth and think they are rich, but they have money.  “Those claimed to be educated but are only well read.  “The fifth columnists who position themselves to be poached by outsiders and used as a veritable marionette to destabilize the efforts of their well meaning Igbo compatriots…”

What a Food for Thought for the initiated.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...

THE ENDURING LEGACY OF LEADERSHIP: Chief James Ibori Celebrated for His Impact on Delta State

On Friday, May 31st, during the funeral service for the Late Asagba of Asaba, the essence of true leadership was vividly displayed. The service featured the introduction of various dignitaries, including Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation who represented President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and Former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. As each dignitary was introduced, the church remained silent. However, the atmosphere dramatically changed when the name of Former Governor James Ibori was announced; the congregation erupted in wide jubilation and applause. This reaction was so profound that even Senator George Akume and Governor Obaseki could not hide their astonishment. The enthusiastic reception for Chief James Ibori during this solemn occasion highlighted his enduring legacy among the people of Delta State. Despite having left office seventeen years ago, he continues to be celebrated whenever he attends public functions i...
