The wife of the Delta State PDP Governorship candidate, Dame Edith Okowa today met with the officials and members of the National Council of Women Society on a familiarization and sensitization visit. While addressing the women group, Mrs. Okowa informed them that she was there to preach the gospel of Jesus and that of the PDP. She enjoined women and indeed all Deltans to go and collect their PVC (permanent voter’s card). Emphasizing that the PVC was every adult’s power to participate in the choice of the best candidates come February. She called on Deltans to vote for: President Goodluck Jonathan for President, Senator Ifeanyi Okwa for Governor and all other PDP candidates.

Once again, Patani and Bomadi stood still for hours following the entry of the PDP Governorship campaign train of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa. Everybody, young and old, male and female trooped out to listen to the prosperity gospel. Senator Okowa promised the people economic transformation of themselves and their communities. “In 2006, I thought it was my turn, but God said No! Today it is my turn and my time, we should all wait for God’s time, my hope is to build on solid rock, with God all things are possible.   I urge you all to put God first in all that you do because he will never let us down.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, Many a time, people ask me, “Pastor Prince, I know that God’s promises are true, but how can I be sure that His promises will come true in my life?” My friend, if you want God’s promises to be sure in your life, you cannot depend on yourself. If you depend on yourself—your obedience, goodness, service and even faith—you will not be able to receive God’s promises. But when you depend on God’s grace—His unmerited, unearned, undeserved favor toward you—that is when His promises become sure in your life. This was true of the woman with the issue of blood. (Matthew 9:20–22) She didn’t go around saying, “I must have faith…I hope that I have enough faith…I will have faith…I will not lose faith.” No, she was only conscious of the grace of Jesus—how He always healed the sick, how powerful He was in raising the dead and how willing He was to use that power for her healing....

It was another mammoth crowd and a total lockdown of Ozoro, headquarter of Isoko North and Oleh, headquarter of Isoko South Local Government Areas today as the campaign train of the Delta State PDP Governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa berthed with the gospel of Prosperity and better life for all Deltans . Senator Okowa continued on his message of prosperity for all Deltans.  He emphasized that all Deltans must together build an economic agenda of our collective dreams that translates into improved standards of living, increased human well-being and assured social justice.

Dame Edith Okowa also used the visits to appreciate everyone for supporting her husband during PDP primary election and for making him the winner. She however, dedicated her husband's victory to God Almighty. Mrs. Okowa visit is to appreciate the Queens and appeal to them to spread the gospel of prosperity for all Deltans and encourage them to continue their support in making her husband, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa the next Governor of Delta State. During the visit Dame Edith Okowa was honoured with royal blessings from the Queens. They also assured Mrs. Okowa of their support for her husband and promised that they will pass the message to their people.
