As a journalist and a lawyer, his strength is in his character, which is invisible. Yet he is not hidden because he does not shy away from responsibilities and challenges.

You are a man of history whose life has affected Delta State and indeed Nigeria in an unprecedented manner.

Osu, you have spent most of your adult life serving your father land as a law maker, administrator, public servant and statesman.  Your influence has been felt in all areas of governance.

I urge you to use the rest of your life to continue to serve humanity as many young people look up to people like you for counsel and guidance.

I pray God to grant you good health and long life for more selfless service to Delta State, Nigeria and the entire human race.

EDO GUBER ELECTION: Omo-Agege, Faith Majemite, Others Appointed Into APC National Campaign Council

Ahead of the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unveiled a 197-member council on Wednesday to lead its campaign. According to the list released by APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu has been appointed as the chairman of the campaign council. On Friday, May 31st, during the funeral service for the Late Asagba of Asaba, the essence of true leadership was vividly displayed. The service featured the introduction of various dignitaries, including Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation who represented President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and Former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
