THE PRESIDENT'S MEDIA TEAM SHOULD NOT DIGNIFY FALSE RUMOUR

It is most unfortunate that Shehu while dismissing the rumour that President Buhari was dead as being speculated by mischief makers, went on to note that: “He is unlike a past President who was at Ota, with Chief Obasanjo and attending the Trump inauguration in D.C, being in two places at the same time!’’

Is there something between Buhari and Jonathan or Garba and Jonathan that we don't know? Professional media practitioners don't respond to fake news. That is legitimizing the source of the 'news'.

That is why it is difficult to understand Shehu Garba 'below the belt' quip aimed at Jonathan that the President can't be at two different places at the same time - in Jonathan's case, Abeokuta and the United States for Trump's inauguration.

I think it's rude of the President senior media chief to address a former President as such. Is there something between Buhari and Jonathan or Garba and Jonathan that we don't know?

Shehu is Atiku's media man. Given the competency he showed when Atiku fought OBJ and the own goals he keeps scoring against PMB my gut feel is that he is a Trojan horse in PMB's administration. I may be wrong.
