COUNTDOWN TO INAUGURATION: SENATOR IFEANYI OKOWA WILL STAND FIRM TO FULFILL HIS PROMISES

The secret of life is to have a mission, something you devote your entire life to, something you bring everything to, every minute of the day for the rest of your life, for the Governor-elect of Delta State that thing is service to this State.

Senator Okowa is confident, assertive, innovative and committed to promoting and defending the interest of the people and will not talk about anything that he will not do. It may have taken some time for us to have someone like him to turn the impossibilities of our collective dreams to possibilities. Though many may not see this can-do- spirit and capabilities, but it is gratifying that Deltans gave him their mandate to prove his worth.

Though he is not God, who is omniscience, but it is clear that he can do it, because of the empowerment of God’s grace bestowed on his life. Failures are for the ones who do not see their success through God. His government will perform with the hands of God that are upon him. Those who believe they can do it with their knowledge always fail, but to those that trust in God’s benevolence to achieve their set - goals, perform beyond their targets. Throughout his governance, God will be put first in all things, while enshrining his holiness and sanctity over all our affairs.

His coming into governance is total and his commitment to see prosperity for all of Delta State, including transformation to private sector driven economy is also total. He wants to create and give our people jobs. His service will be selfless neither with desires to build personal empire, but to grant all Delta sons and daughters the status of being self-dependent and self-sufficient.

Though the odds of present economic status of our country and the world at large may hamper the desired projections on how to grow our economy, but there has to be measures to undertake to earn more revenues beyond the statutory allocation.

The power of faith and belief are real power. Believing that you can attain your goal is of great importance for its achievement. Without faith, there will be doubts and disbelief, which leads to non-doing and to non-achievement. Faith draws and attracts what you want into your life, whereas doubts, worries and disbelief push them away. Trust God and believe in the promises, for they shall come to pass.
