FRED LATIMORE OGHENESIVBE'S MENDACIOUS FACEBOOK ADVOCACY

For quite some time now sanity returned to Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, but unfortunately in the last few days, this unofficial spokesman of Olorogun Otega Emerhor is back with his insanity, malicious falsehood and character assassination.

But the advice as usual is that don't let Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe confuse you with his penchant for incongruent and malicious propaganda -- he is always quick to assert the level of his education but also quick to discard the traits of an educated person, not to talk of that of a lawyer. He has to understand the implications of most actions taken in this age. Reasonable people cannot accept his style of writing, which is abusive, disrespectful, pedestal and marketplace.

Fred Latimore’s writings are malicious lies from the pits of hell as is expected from a revisionist satanic mind full of Governor Okowa hate. He is an atavistic warped-mind. Reading him at any time is a waste of precious time, because he lacks the objectivity of mind and dispassionate unprejudiced emotions to comprehend things.
He is therefore nothing but a nuisance, a clown and court jester who reduces everything to warped-minded self-entertainment.
People like Latimore are a part of Nigeria's problems. While masquerading as progressive advocate, he is actually struggling to market himself for any available appointment. Rather than shamelessly waste his time on Governor Okowa, he should be busier with propounding solutions to the numerous socio-economic challenges of the country that his party the All Progressive Congress - APC is finding difficult to tackle.
I would like to draw his attention to three issues, which the people have been talking and writing about, often as separate issues. They are: (1) the Fulani herdsmen’s atrocities; (2) the shortage in power supply; and (3) the shortage in fuel supply. APC handling of each of these problems is already affecting the people’s perception of their governance style and their administration’s change agenda. About each one, the people are already saying “This is not the change we voted for”. They may be wrong, but APC has to prove them wrong by action, realising that the combination of these three problems could potentially bring down their administration, if left unresolved or if the resolution is unsatisfactory or perceived to be so.
The three problems have four things in common. First, each of them has serious economic implications, which directly affect the people’s lives. Second, the problems are wide-spread enough to be classified as national problems. Third, the solution to the problems is beyond the capacity of individuals, communities, or even States. Yet, fourth, each of the problems is perceived to have suffered from delayed, tepid, or unsatisfactory response from APC administration.
Again one can understand GEJ covering up $20 billion allegedly stolen from NNPC under his presidency. But how do we explain the fact that PMB elected to fight corruption has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about this humongous amount? In one year? An amount equal to our 2016 'padded' budget? While we are looking for $2 billion to borrow?
There are enough problems for the APC, which Fred Latimore with his intellect should find solutions to. But it is sad that Fred Latimore gets away with this foolishness, because he is among Nigerians -- a people who see the moon's senior wife from here, on earth.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...

Faith Majemite; and other governors elected on the APC platform. The recently reinstated Deputy Governor of Edo, Philip Shaibu, who recently defecte...

THE ENDURING LEGACY OF LEADERSHIP: Chief James Ibori Celebrated for His Impact on Delta State

On Friday, May 31st, during the funeral service for the Late Asagba of Asaba, the essence of true leadership was vividly displayed. The service featured the introduction of various dignitaries, including Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation who represented President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and Former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. As each dignitary was introduced, the church remained silent. However, the atmosphere dramatically changed when the name of Former Governor James Ibori was announced; the congregation erupted in wide jubilation and applause. This reaction was so profound that even Senator George Akume and Governor Obaseki could not hide their astonishment. The enthusiastic reception for Chief James Ibori during this solemn occasion highlighted his enduring legacy among the people of Delta State. Despite having left office seventeen years ago, he continues to be celebrated whenever he attends public functions i...
