DELTA 2015: TONY CHUCKS OBUH IN THE LOOKING GLASS

In human relationships, anger and speech can act as both constructive and deconstructive forces that change the way we feel or interact with others.
Constructive forces are those that build, enhance or enlighten. They are positive forces in nature and human relationships that are responsible for creating change.

On the other hand, a destructive force is one that demolishes, breaks apart or lowers. Destructive forces are particularly damaging when it comes to human relationships and interactions.

Speech acts as a constructive and deconstructive force in human relations. Speech is used to build someone up and inflate his/her confidence, or in a way that is harmful or damaging to a person's self-image. Words are powerful tools that can build someone up or knock them down.

Constructive speech is any kind of speech that works toward positive change or maintaining good relations with others. Deconstructive speech is any kind of speech that is negative, hateful or derogatory.

All negative propaganda about Tony Obuh will not stall his vision to lead Delta State. Insinuations about the postponement of political rally are funny. For the avoidance of doubt, the declaration rally was postponed as a result of persistent pressure from support groups to be accommodated in arrangements, preparatory to delegates’ elections. Tony Obuh is predestined.

For who God has predestined, him He gave the grace, he that have the grace, is him that have been anointed for the glory, for the throne is for the elects who are selected by God not men.

Tony Obuh is a man whose eyes only know quality, a developer who has outgrown mediocrity and nepotism, a detribalized leader and a man with a golden heart. Leadership is not the humour but the aura, is not speeches but the action, is not about dreams but the visions, is not about tribe but about virtues, is not about experience but will power.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
