Emerging
report has alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari has directed security
agencies around the country to monitor all social media platforms of Nigerians,
to track down those who peddle what he calls ‘Hate Posts’.
This information was revealed on
the Twitter handle of one Nnamdi Anekwe-Chive.
His words: “President Muhammadu
Buhari has directed the security agencies to monitor the social media accounts
of Nigerians, and those who peddle what he calls ‘Hate Posts’.
“The crack down begins.”
You would recall, that this is
not the first time such information will be made available to Nigerians,
regarding the President instructing security agencies to clamp down on citizens
who post ‘hate speeches’ on the internet.
