DELTA CENTRAL SENATORIAL SEAT: TIME TO COMPENSATE CHIEF IGHOYOTA AMORI

Chief Ighoyota Amori, the Odidimadi of Delta politics has stepped forward boldly and confidently to present himself for the position of Senator to Delta Central senatorial district. Chief Amori is community development oriented. He has served his people creditably and has turned the otherwise rural Mosogar community into an urban centre.

Chief Amori has been one of the pillars of politics in the State since 1996.The political achievements of the State government under Chief James Ibori and Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan's cannot be divorced from the contributions of Chief Amori as a political mobilizer. 

There is no doubt that his political visibility over the years puts him in a better stead to bring development to Delta Central senatorial district. Chief Amori has paid his dues fully as a politician. His sagacious political approach has been quite effective and result oriented.

It is time to enthrone Chief Ighoyota Amori, after many years of service and contribution to the socio-economic and political development of the district. This is an opportunity for the people of the senatorial district to give Chief Amori the space to represent them. He has contributed hugely to making most of those who are today practicing politicians in the district. He is a political role model to most politicians from Delta Central. Definitely, it is time to compensate Chief Ighoyota Amori.

Ahead of the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unveiled a 197-member council on Wednesday to lead its campaign. On Friday, May 31st, during the funeral service for the Late Asagba of Asaba, the essence of true leadership was vividly displayed.
